To put that into perspective, consider that background noise in a library is 30dB. Innovations like the multi-angled heat exchanger, modified fin shape and large-diameter fan have increased efficiency while allowing greater airflow volume to be pushed through at lower speeds. The introduction of an uneven fan-blade pitch and a remote-controlled vane add further significant reductions to air resistance as well.
